About Us
Mission statement

Eager to start something positive for Tanzania and its people, we started up AYO-JENGA SAFARI TOURS in 2021. Our aims are two-fold. Firstly, we want to provide an expert guide to travellers visiting Africa for the first time. But just as importantly, we want to reinvest the proceeds back into sustaining the environment and helping her people. Put simply, we want to build something that will help Tanzania now and into the future. And that’s where the name comes from. Jenga literally means build in Kiswahili. And everyone has played the game of Jenga. Well, it’s one of our favourites at least… In the same way interlocking blocks create standing structures, we want to link together with tourism and hospitality industries. Then combine our work with the Zuia International NGO to help the people of Tanzania build positive lives for themselves and their communities.

Cultural Tourism

One of Tanzania’s greatest beauties is her people. Their warm and wonderful hospitality and distinctive traditions leave a lasting impression. At Ayo-Jenga, we believe it’s important to show you this. That way, you get to see a truly different way of life. One that makes for an amazing experience that enriches your life long after you go home. We have the utmost respect for those we partner with in the cultural tourism programs. Your visit will give back to their communities in many ways and help preserve their unique way of life. We’ve created each safari to maximise your experience. That said, there’s many optional extras available. Together with plenty of opportunities to meet and learn from the local people. As the Swahili saying goes, “visitors are a blessing”. Learning from each other, it’s our belief that we can go much further together, both as people and an organisation.

Choose your trip through paradise

The sights in Tanzania are diverse and always changing. The beauty, however, always takes your breath away.

Jungles, mountains, savannahs. Volcanic craters and lakes. Tanzania doesn’t just have bush. It has vast, rugged, and spectacular wilderness in abundance. In fact, there’s so much to see and do, it can be hard to know where to start. But at Ayo-Jenga, we’ve created guided tours through the most stunning environments on earth. So, leave the itinerary to us. It doesn’t matter which location you choose, either. We’re passionate about offering you a seamless experience. You’ll be warmly welcomed at the airport and taken to your first accommodation. From there, we’ll take you on a journey through paradise with your comfort and safety central to everything we do. In the north, you’ll see world famous parks filled with big game animals. There’s the Serengeti, Mount Kilimanjaro, and Ngorongoro Crater. And that’s just for starters.

You’ll also be able to see herds of buffalos, springbok, and zebras. And it’s the perfect place to see lions or any of the big five, as well as flamingos, leopards, and ancient Baobab trees. The south is where you can go for a real frontier experience. The Selous Reserve and Ruaha National Parks are two of the largest and most famous parks in this region. In fact, there’s the same spread of species as you’d find in the north, just with more solitude and seclusion. So, from spotting prides of lions to watching herds of elephants, you can feel more ‘at one’ with nature. Often for substantially cheaper prices than you’d find in the north. You can also experience the beauty of Tanzania on the beach, too. Because our longer safaris offer an extended beach stay. Our trusted partners will take you on tours of Zanzibar and the hotels we offer will help you relax in exquisite locations. All after seeing some of the most heavenly scenery you can imagine. Plus, there’s plenty of opportunities to build a safari experience of your choosing. We have a range of optional extras in every location we visit. For example, you could visit a tribal village or two. Or experience the sights and smells of a coffee farm tour. Simply click here to learn more about each safari in detail.
