We were very last minute in planning our Honeymoon to Tanzania, but thankfully we got in touch with Jen and Elifadhili! They an did an amazing job of pulling together a 2 day/1 night package to suit our budget and timescales which took us to Mikumi on safari and Udzungwa for a walk to the spectacular waterfalls. Victor our guide was patient and knowledgable, giving us ample time to observe the animals without feeling rushed. Jen and Elifadhili have a fantastic breadth of contacts and filled in all the gaps for us, with connections and advice on onwards travel/activities.

I had an amazing experience with Ayo Jenga safari in Mikumi. We had a full day and night in the park so also managed to experience sunset and sunrise. We saw so many animals, including a lot of lions and lion cubs, which was incredible. Our guide Victor was so friendly and knowledgeable. I noticed a lot of the other safari vehicles would stop to allow people to take a couple of photos and then very quickly move on. Victor however allowed us to relax and spend time soaking up the experience and watch the animals for as long as we wanted. We then travelled the next day to another national park where we did a walk in the rainforest to some waterfalls where we swam. We saw many more monkeys and again a very special experience. I especially like with AyoJenga that they support a local NGO who does incredibly valuable prevention work in relation to human trafficking and abuse against women and children. I would highly recommend using this safari company and if I am ever lucky enough to return to Tanzania I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
